The Best XBox Game Ever Made

So there haven't been any new interesting forums up for a lil while so I thought I'd jus ask. Out of any type of genre, what is the best XBox game ever made???? :huh

Please give a detailed reason why. :)

I'm hoping for some heated debates cause a few already stick out in my head :lol
 
Sorry to say this, but I don't think Halo has a "best game". You might hate me, but I think that Xbox is the equivalent to a PC scecialized for playing games, and is therefore lacking the difference to a computer it needs to be a good system. I believe that Xbox was a kind of marketing idea to sell modified "computers" to children because the are the ones who play the games, and therefore are a major percentage of the market.

If anybody hates Microsoft, it's me.
 
It's alright..nobody's gonna judge ya...or at least I'm not gonna. I respect your opinion. For me, personally, I haven't played enough Halo to decide whether I like it or not. I also think that Microsoft is a miniature computer designed for games...but as long as it keeps selling, and producing more games that can be played on a cheaper system, it's ok with me. :)

I actually thought Halo was a pretty lackluster game. Honestly, the first time I played Halo I thought "this is it?" I thought it was a technically sound FPS, but by no means anything exceptional.
 
well it has to be the halo series

halo reeled the fans in and halo 2 put them in the bathtub....I mean keep them there
 
Great choice! That is my favorite Xbox game, followed by Ninja Gaiden. Ninja Gaiden may very well be the "best" there is for Xbox, at least for single player games. Too bad its difficulty is a bit much for casual gamers.
 
Im going to say Shenmue 2. The Shenmue series is one of the best series I ever played and Shenmue 2 did not dissapoint. Lots of exploration, lots of people to talk to, great story mixed with a great fighting engine. Not to mention the graphics were awsome for it's time. A seriously underrated game in my opinion.
 
Ok creepin, I'm gonna need your help on this. Do they make both the Shenmue's for Xbox? If so, should I start at 1 or would I miss anything if I went to 2 (wondering if the storyline and characters are the same)?

I keep seein Shenmue 2 for like $8 around here and I remember seeing the first for Dreamcast when it first came out.

The original is only available on the dreamcast. I highly recommend playing the first one because part 2 has everything to do with the continuation of the story.
