2k games is saying they'll make a Bioshock CE if 5000 people sign a petition saying they'll buy it.

I don't see where it says that 2K will do this. It looks like a generic online petition formed by a fan. Am I missing something? Plus they already have over 5000 signatures.

Hah!!! They were only half way there when signed. It started as just a generic online form, but 2k's website posted a link to it, saying that if they got 5000 sigs they would make a CE. Hold on. I'll try to find the thing on the official site...EDIT: ah here it is http://www.2kgames.com/cultofrapture/cultofrapture.html
I guess they don't need sigs anymore. They already have over 10,000.

Actually Bioshock kinda got the idea from DMC 4. This isn't an official site, but it is a petition that infulenced capcom's decision to make DMC multiplatform. THat's where 2k got the idea. 8)

It's really too bad the Big Daddy figures are winning the voting right now. When they make figurines for games they are usually not of high quality.

And I don't understand why "Making of" DVD and artbooks are so high, either. Those come with every limited edition game! They should do something that will be different and stand out from everything else.

Personally I would like the art print with the team's signatures. Something rare like that would be worth a fortune on ebay after a while. Not that I would sell it, but for a collector it would be more of a prize than say, the Big Daddy figure or an artbook or a Making of DVD.
 
I like upgraded packaging. But making of DVDs are too common nowadays. The soundtrack would be nice, because oftentimes finding music from video games is hard to do (newer games at least).
 
The problem is that most of the choices aren't worth any extra money. Give me an afternoon and I can easily crank out a Making Of... DVD, no problem.
