The Forum With No Swear Filter

I've been here a little north of 2 years,some of you much longer.In your experience,and the fact most of us know each other as well as you can on a computer.What do you think the forum threads and posts would be like if the swear filter was nonexistent?

From my experience at other forums, even when cussing is allowed, most people use it sparingly. I'm sure that if the cuss filters were gone, most people still wouldn't cuss just out of habit. But there's always a few people who cuss too much and/or unnecessarily, and I find that distasteful, so I'm glad there is a cuss filter here.

I personally don't care either way, but having a filter brings around people who are (for the most part) mature enough not to need to cuss every other word.
 
I prefer sites with filters just because I have noticed that quite a few people who are teenagers or in there early 20's seem to have trouble with swearing since they seem to need to be either in a situation where they can't it's every third word that's coming out of there mouth and find that to be rather annoying.
 
Actually every other word that usually comes out is ****. and i'm sure you can guess what the means.

I'm not gonna lie. If it were not for the cuss filter i would one day end up cussing up a pure rampage.
 
Without it, it doesn't do much. With it, it just filters out odd words sometimes. I don't mind either way.
 
Even at forums where cussing is allowed, I don't do it. I've noticed throughout the years that people who use profanity tend to be very low on the intellectual totem pole.
 
It makes the site better if you ask me. There have been so many hilarious moments that come from the filter randomly censoring words or groups of letters (mrs engima creating butt hole instead of a hole in the middle of a serious poem springs to mind :lol).
 
I remember something (don't remember if it was on just the chat or the forums too) used to censor cumbersome or something along those lines. :lol
 
You guys must have had your share of soap in your mouth when you were younger! :lol
 
I think here and there would be alright, but since this is a family friendly site, We'll see more people my age come in that way, and it's always nice to have some friends your age. :)
