New update patch on Fable 2 was released today...it fixes a lot of glitches.


# The Ritual/Monk's Quest -- Fixed the issue with the Abbott becoming unresponsive if you leave Oakfield before he finishes talking. This will fix the problem if you've already hit it, too. Rescuing Charlie/Rescue My Baby -- after rescuing Charlie, you are now able to interact with objects
# Guild Cave chest -- resolves any issues with previous inability to retrieve items unlocked from Limited Collector's Edition, website or Chicken Kickin' game. If you've already hit this bug you should now get your items.
# The Spire (Pt2) -- no more issues with ship captain being unresponsive
# The Hero of Skill (Pirate King) -- you'll no longer get stuck during Hero of Skill quest (Bloodstone)
# T.O.B.Y./Trouble In Bloodstone -- you'll no longer get stuck during T.O.B.Y. quests (Bloodstone)
# Your child -- will no longer be chosen as an assassination target
# Furniture Shop in Albion (Bowerstone) will now always have something for sale
# Additional unspecified fixes

I got, finished the main quest, and all i gotta say, is that was pretty fun. It just adds 5 more hours of gameplay basically.

I loved it! It was a beautiful wintery scene that I craved to have during December, since it's been about 6 months (When I was in Alaska for the Wedding) to see snow once more.

I have to admit, the first part of the quest was extremely short. I was very disappointed, until you wait about 2 minutes, then part 2 of the quest steps in. The puzzles in the new dungeons you explore are a bit challenging in comparison to most you face in the main game.

The biggest surprise is the bonus weapons, the weight loss potion, weight gain potion, an augment remover device (About time!), and the all sleaked-out KNOTHOLE KNIGHT ARMOR SUIT. Which is by FAR the best looking outfit in the game by a landslide! See for yourself! Here's me! ^_^

Also note: THIS quest does NOT effect the main storyline, it's more of a side-quest.
 
Looks like I'm going back...there's another side quest....and the grand prize? Hal's Rifle....the HALO ASSAULT RIFLE....

Seems the future of the game's DLC and the NEXT Lionhead studios game will be revealed in Spring!

I'm still playing it on occasion... but... I gave up on my first hero due to my Spouse not reappearing anymore, so I keep getting nagged to go and talk to her so I can save my kid.

Release date? May 12th

In addition to adding in new items, quests and fluffy companions, Lionhead also promises that all Xbox Live Silver account holders will be able to adventure alongside their Gold cousins for free from May 8 through May 11. So grab your dog and your favorite sword -- the future's waiting.
 
... dang...

If only those darn wireless adapters weren't so pricy, I'd be online and joining in with that feature!

A taste of Fable 2 has been released for free.

Fable 2 being re-released in 5 parts to download via "Games on Demand" is a bit odd. Yet the first part is absolutely free to download is sweet :)
