The Offical Tales of Vesperia Thread.

I should buy it and just not open it...I probably would if I hadn't need for Rock Band 2.

<3 this game!! ^___^

I've only had one really hard boss so far.

Tales of games + a supreme fan of tales of series like Mai (who has played more tales of games than me) + a "hard" boss = OMG HARDEST BOSS IN THE HISTORY OF GAMING XD

There's a trick to fighting that boss that makes it a lot easier. Actually, it helped so much that I wonder if anyone beat him without doing it the way I did.

XD this kinda reminds me of my trick to beat abysson in the hardest mode, just para-ball him all the way.

Whoa! :o

How did I get dancing stars on my name?!

Edit: Never mind ... forum hiccup.

It was probably your 64th post... which would've been the Mario 64 title. You only get it for 1 post :lol but it is a special one out there with rotating Mario 64 stars :)

†B†V† :hat

if i had to choose whether keep ToV or destroy rock band, i would choose the obvious XD (ToV)

I have a confession to make, I bought the game today :-[ and.....I like it lol Takes me a while to get used to the battle system, but I rarely buy RPG's. I'm fearing I may not be able to finish this one.

Stick with it, Mega. ^_^ The hardest boss in the whole game so far is one of the first bosses, so once you get past that boss it's not so difficult.

The story is still kind of slow where I'm at, which is probably about 15+ hours in. But Tales games are usually like that, and the best part is always the ending when everything is tied together.

I think Zidart will know what I mean. In Tales of the Abyss, it was pretty far in the game before you found out that
Luke was a replica (if you hadn't already guessed by then).

In Tales of Vesperia, I think I was around the 12 or 13 hour mark when
the "Estelle is the poison of the world" (Scrapped Princess much?) plot comes up.

I don't recall what level I was, but I always make a point to fight all the enemies. If you're skipping battles you miss out on EXP and learning more moves.

oh yes i understand mai but that actually helps because the characters get a chance to be developed and you get a chance to truly know them, because sometimes in RPGs something happens to the characters and you just don't feel like is such a big deal because you don't really are into the character/s that much.

Yeah, I think the way Tales sets up the story is very good. I guess what I mean is that like any other rpg, you have to keep playing to appreciate the story. ^_^
