4th of July isnt here yet... xD

and OMG WHERE IS IT?

I say that because in harsh retail world, you sometimes have to let your boss know 3 weeks in advance to request time off. If Not, you are royally screwed :)

Just got a personal demonstration of the new Zelda from Nintendo's reps. It's already what TP should've been.

any details you want/can share with us?

you know your opinion really interests me, for someone who is heavily biased against nintendo hearing positive and negative facts about what you have seen so far is really interesting... even more so than people going "OMG BEST ZELDA I HAVE EVER PLAYED" on other forums >_> (and i admit if i were there i would probably say the same thing myself).

Super Street Fighter IV for 3DS!

ok now i am wondering...why are these big name fighters going to the handheld like that? is the D-pad different from the DS or something?

I think it might have to do with the analog stick and the overall power of the handheld. DOA is obviously a game that taxes a system due to their physics engine and SF IV is just amazing in every aspect.

I believe I can. First off, the sword play is much better due to the Motion Plus. The sword does move to the position you have the Wii Remote set to. It detects when you want to slash horizontally, vertically and even sideways. It looks like this will add some strategy to how you defeat bosses based on the ones I faced. Also, just the overall menu system feels much more intuitive with the Wii Remote. Can't really fault TP because of this though since it wasn't really meant to be a Wii game. I wish the shield was able to track your hand movements but I'll take it how it is now. They've brought back the sword beam that has been missing in 3D zeldas. So now when you have full hearts you can charge your sword and shoot your sword beam. Not sure how I feel about the overall design though. It's too bright for my tastes. That's one of the few things I liked about TP. It was slightly darker than most Zeldas. So I think this might keep me from loving the game, but we'll see once it's closer to completion.

I'm glad your interested in my opinions. I know I give Nintendo a lot of flak lately, but I like to give respect where it's due, and Nintendo definitely stepped it up this year.

Like i said, it is thanks to the flak you give to nintendo that i consider your opinion important... when a hater is impressed, there has to be a good reason why, you know what i am saying? and even when something i liked is bashed or dissed i take it with a grain of salt even if i disagree with it.

but I have to agree with that the cell shading this time around felt a little odd... everything looked great except for link... he looked very...weird, like he didn't fit in

I'm really glad to hear people saying Nintendo stepped it up this year and giving them praise. It's about time they stepped up their game and got with the times!

Good it worked for you..at the E3 demonstration, all I could think of was how much work needed to go into the sword play. When they showed it off at the conference, the sword was not matching the angle Shigeru was slashing at all.
