Hehe i noticed that it was on there yesterday when i had a look, i thought that the US would have gotten it at the same time or before. I would dl but i already have it on a gamecube disc which is either got with the speical edition wind waker or mario kart -im pretty sure that majorans mask was on it-

I have this on Gamecube as well :) No need for the Virtual console version... ALTHOUGH I HOPE the Virtual console version brings notoriety to this superb game.

Honestly... it is very disappointing to see Majoras Mask ripped on all the time.

I think Majoras Mask is way underrated by game players. Game reviewers gave the game great ratings... but it seems players didn't.

there is no way around it? I don't get why that would be region locked... but we can play Japanese games on the Wii Virtual Console. UNLESS we can't play them on an NTSC system... and that's why.

Ladies and gentlemen, time to dust off your Wii. The Zelda anthology is complete on the Virtual Console. May 18th (today) they finally released Zelda Majora's Mask in the USA!

Another announcement I think that would have been sweet at E3...but still really cool none the less. :D
 
I just bought and all I gotta say is. Thank you Nintendo! It's a perfect direct port of the N64 classic. It's not a port of the Zelda CE edition with sound issues! It's clear as a bell on my TV from what I hear and remember.

*Edit* Okay there are some MINOR sound issues present, but not as garbled during sound effects, only time you hear them is if you're going from the east clock town to middle clock town. You can tell the crew behind this port was trying their hardest to make sure the game sounds as close to the original. I still commend them for finally porting this one.

which one had sound issues? The Gamecube version? I remember slow saves... but not sound issues.

and the Virtual Console version has weird garbled sound effects?
