When it comes to games like this to choose from it becomes completely subjective. I voted based on nostalgia mostly. Super Mario 3 gives me some happy memories.

That's what I was going to go for... but... How does one vote for the "best" game ever, based solely on the fact that it was first game they ever played, or due to the most nostalgia from it?

same reason as strubes
sega and sonic were first games i ever owned as a kid

brings back at least 6 years worth of nostalgia for me
