Ubisoft No Longer Including Instruction Manuals for 360 and PS3 Games

well i don't really care for ubisoft's manuals since they are not artistic or good looking like say Tales of series manuals so they can get rid of them if they want i just hope other companies don't follow since i do like the art in many manuals

And what if it's not?

What I meant to say is that the game will just have tutorials. It was already stated in the article I posted.

As a collector, this just makes it easier for me. Now I don't have to worry about finding a case with a manual. Just a case and a game

Personally I really don't give a damn. One less thing to lose. With the rise of Digitally Distributed content this just makes more sense. Plus it seems alot of publishers are decreasing the size and "quality" of the instruction booklets any way.

Exactly. This is actually a great step for collectors, IMO.

I'd still rather have a physical copy of the manuals, much like I prefer having physical copies of games instead of digital ones.
For instance, probably my favorite manual is Jak and Daxter's manual. The one that unfolds into a map. Whenever I play J&D, I tack it up next to my TV to refer to the map. Most manuals aren't that useful, but I still like having physical manuals, regardless, I like to be able to refer to a manual without launching the game.

I liked manuals back when there was something to them, but recently very few games have manuals that are anything more than a basic "these are the controls, this is the HUD." So I could care less.

Nintendo says there's still live in it! Yeah, I'm stirring up crap. Let's go..

Is called Divinity II: Ego Draconis. It's made my Larian Studios, I think it's a European company.

Just watched some gameplay videos for it. Looks really good and kinda like Oblivion/Morrowind. Definitely something I'd buy if I had a 360.

It was only $30, it's like a low-budget version of Dragon Age and Oblivion. Not bad so far really, I read it's really buggy and has really bad flow of difficulty.

That's too bad about the bugs. Hopefully they are just annoying and nothing game breaking.
