I already have a few teams I wanna test out. Chun-li, X-23, and Zero for some unblockable setups. Zero, Chun-Li, and Ammie for rush down. Arthur, MODOK, and Dor for keep away. Dante, Zero, and Deadpool for some crazy shenanigans.

Just in case people didn't know the control scheme of MVC3 will be different than previous MVC games. Instead of having 4 attack buttons and 2 assist buttons there is going to be 3 attack buttons, a launcher button, and 2 assist buttons. The 3 attack buttons are Light/Medium/Heavy and just like in MVC2 you can magic series these attacks together. With this new change to switch characters you have to hold the specific assist button, so say if you have Zero on point, Tron on assist 1 and Sentinel on Assist 2 to bring out Tron you hold down Assist 1 and hold down Assist 2 for Sentinel.

OMG does Walmart have that special edition??? because if they do then that means I get to just walk to the walmart across the street at 12AM and get it right there and then instead of wasting my time and walking 3 miles to the gamestop near my house the next day.

Darn it... walmart doesn't have the special edition... looks like I'll be walking to gamestop =_=

Oh man, I cannot wait for the game to come out. I ordered the special edition off the capcom site. I really hope I get it on the street date. :D

My gamestop is hopefully going to have a midnight tournament. Though! I really really hope the Walmart close by breaks the street date.

No, I tried using Xfactor three times during combos but it hasn't worked. I'll keep trying and get back to you if anything changes.

Yeah, Xfactors (as I'm sure you know but others may not) are used to boost your overall strength and agility. It's effectiveness is based on your team's overall health. It's used by hitting all face buttons together (not sure what with a stick), and you glow red to let you know it's activated. There's a title called "I ain't done yet!" that you unlock if you finish a match with Xfactor activated. However, I'm still trying to use it during enemy combos and haven't had it work yet.

Then it probably doesn't work. I know if you are in block stun and use Xfactor then it will knock the enemy in the air and you can get a free combo. The levels of Xfactor are effected by how many characters you have. Say you have 3 characters with full health compared to 3 characters with barely any then the level of Xfactor is at 1. Level 2 for 2 characters and 3 for 1 left.

That's right. Also, "I wanna take you for a ride" is still in the character select screen. Just a remixed version. :)

There's also a Mission Mode available. These are character specific. 10 missions per character, split up into Marvel and Capcom sides. These can be as simple as using a specific special move, or for using certain combos.

There are multiple remixes of IWTYFAR.

Only 10 missions for mission mode? Dante has 40 specials.....

Sucks there is no spectator mode.

Yeah, they're not just for specials though. Some are for specials, combos, canceling, etc.

is it like 1/2 combos per missions? like Blazblue continuum shift?

also bad news for me T_T i couldn't pre-order the limited edition because i didn't know... well that you couldn't. Can someone be nice enough to tell me how much the DLC characters will cost? (that was the only reason i wanted the limited edition to begin with)
