Yeah, that's kind of what I was thinking of when I wrote what I did. I know, for example, that lions have a very intricate and structured social system, where every member of the pride knows what their specific role is. However, this behavior is anything but instinctual, rather it is the result of many years of evolution, passed down from one generation to the next. It is a learned behavior.
