N64- Sin & Punishment- 1200 points (Never before released in America, until now on US VC)
NES- Super Maro Bros. 2: The Lost Levels- 600 points (The REAL JPN Famicom version of Mario 2)

It's made by TREASURE. (Famous for Ikaruga, Radiant Silvergun, Gunstar Heroes, etc.). It's like Panzer Dragoon on the N64. It's golden and full of action.

Word of Advice to anyone who buys SIN & Punishment, change the control setup to "Type 3" because it's a pain in the butt to play it on Type 1 or 2 by far. Thanks to the lack of the "Z" button being fire...you're forced to use the L button to shoot (Cube or Classic Controller)...but if you change it to Type 3...you can use the B Button to fire

OK this thread is a conglomeration of a bunch of threads. It might be a fun read if anyone wants to go back and do it. :lol

Anyway, this is the official Virtual Console release thread. So Mega (XD!) every Monday, from now on, just come here and post what games came out, and put the date. :)

I wonder if it's possible to get Banjo Kazooie/Tooie on the VC now that Microsoft owns Rare. :-\

Yeah we're trying to consolidate a little. But Mega is still #2 in topics started behind BV.

I think if Rare can make Viva Pinata for the DS and possibly even the Wii, they can release games for the VC.
