Warcraft 3

what is DOTA? I heard it a lot in the other forum I was in. I think it had something to do with heros but I could be wrong.
 
DOTA is a custom game type where you pic a hero and battle against the enemy. its alot more complicated then that. and there war TONS of hero's and items. its a really well made game. ;)
 
its pretty hard. but all depends on who you are playing against. you need to get to know the game before you get good at it.
 
I started the campaign over today. This is one of the games I wish I was good at. I have tons of fun playing, but Im just horrible at it. I decided to play the campaigns over and then go from there.
 
I know all the races are balanced, but which race do you think is the best? or which race is your favorite in WC3. (Humans, Orcs, Night Elves, Undead)

Right now I seem to win more with the Orcs. I need to find a strrategy to use, right now Im sorta just playing. Any help would be appreciated.
 
i have wc3 i think that i'm pretty good but i can't go on battle net because somebody stole my cd key so i can't play against any body my fav race is the humans then the night elves then the orcs and then the undead i think that it is a great game and i have finish the campains :)
 
Thats cool Nato. My favorite race is either Humans or Orcs. Night Elves are cool. Im not a fan of the undead. Thats too bad you can play on Battle Net, I would have liked to play online vs you. Like I said in earlier posts, I like the game Im just not that good. The campaigns were fun though :)
 
Nato, would you like a WC3 CD key? I have 2 RoC keys and 2 TFT keys. I got the battle chest for christmas one year, shortly after purchasing them separatly.

I like the Undead Scourge personally.  Only 5 basic workers needed, and your lumber guys can work as an E-defense if needed.

Personally I find NE a bit brokend witht he Demon Hunter.  He's probably the strongest hero, or at least his damage waver is larger compared to other heros.  Death night might have a waver of about 27-33, but the Demon Hunter would be about 25-43.  His agility stat makes him attack faster in general and gives him higher armor, and personally, I find his Metamorph to be too much of a "tide-turner".

EDIT: my name is Nova55 on there, and I play on Lorderon U.S. East server. Don't count on me hosting any games though, I'm trying to figure out whats blocking me.
 
I think Im going to get back into this game. I wont be able to use my laptop until Monday, but Im thinking of reinstalling this game. Anyone up for a game? Let me know....
