For those of you who don't know, the movie adaptation of the graphic novel Watchmen has been at the forefront of a lawsuit between Fox and Warner Bros. over rights to distribute the film. It was expected to be pushed back several months because of this case, but Warner Bros. and Fox have settled out of court. This means that Watchmen will be keeping its March 6 release date.

In light of this good news, I thought I'd make an official Watchmen thread for discussion about the adaptation of the greatest graphic novel of all time. Post all of your thoughts, hopes, fears, and doubts about the adaptation here.
Personally, I'm slowly starting to come around on this movie. I was dead set against it when I found out Tales of the Black Freighter was being pulled and the ending changed, but I just keep hearing more goods things about it. Outside of those two things, it looks like it might be a faithful adaptation of the graphic novel and might even be able to live up to its source material.
