What Books are you reading?

Starting off my return to reading with The Zombie Survival Guide. Something light so that I continue to read. Next up is Jon Ronson's The Psychopath Test. Sounds very interesting to me as I feel I encounter many of these people and yet, I'm the only one who notices certain tendencies.

Hurricane the story of Rubin "Hurricane" Carter before, during, and after his time in prison for being framed of a triple murder from 1954-1975 and then on from there.

Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand
Save yourself the pain of reading that 1000 page sleeping pill. It's honestly one of the worst books I've ever read, probably because it exists only to prove one ridiculous point, not to be good literature. That woman really knows how to beat a dead horse lol.

I'm actually a third of the way through it and I'm rather impressed by it.
Lol well different tastes for different people I guess. Personally, I got to page 700, then literally threw the book in the garbage out of frustration. When it comes to Ayn Rand, I've always thought the Fountainhead was more concise and interesting.

I'm reading that one next... My dad wanted me to read this for summer reading, so I'd have to read it whether I liked it or not xP But ,thankfully I'm not hating it. It's interesting, at least.

I finally finished Starship Troopers (the original novel, yes, it was a book before the 1997 movie). It actually had some great food for thought concerning structure of society vs. individual rights.

Finished The Magician's Nephew. (Narnia #1)
It was really good! Next time I'm at the library I'll pick up a few more.

Also, reading The Murder of Roger Ackroyd, and soon, And Then There Were None. ;)

I have been slowly reading "Bone" to my husband off and on. I try to do dif lil voices for the dif characters lol. :) And I am also reading Fairy Tail and One PIece online, but dunno if they count as books :D

Just finished the 4th Percy Jackson book. Pretty good series.

Oh, so was the Lightning Thief based on one of the books then? Does that mean they will prolly make a number of those movies then?

that was the first. There are 5 books in the series. IDK how much the movie covered, I still haven't seen it.

The movie was cool, but I dunno if u will like it er not..cuz movies usually change stuff er add stuff er leave things out...like the lord of the rings movies were so awesome and such good works of art, but when u read those books they feel completely different to me. They r both super good but just so different feeling.
