It has a lot of hype around it, yes, but not a single person outside of Square has even played it. It's like me saying the next Zelda will be overrated, when we don't have even the slightest clue what the next Zelda will be like. My god, fhq.

Over rated doesn't have to mean numerical ratings, it could just as easily be too much hype, or early proclamations that it's instantly going to be a good game.Homicidal Cherry53 said:

You can say you don't understand the hype, but I simply can't accept someone saying a game they have never played, a game that won't be out for at least another year, is overrated, or even overhyped, because there is no way for you to know if the game will meet expectations.

And I have every right to say I don't want it and I think it's already over rated, because I didn't like the ones as of late.
Sure, you have every right to say it. It's just incredibly stupid to judge a game on the series it's in, rather than the merits of the game itself (which are currently unknown). A game being good or bad doesn't guarantee its successors will be the same.fhqwhgads said:

The game will be mostly the same, odds are. They won't change it up enough to be a large departure.

Eh, I've just never had the same thrill from exploring a life sized 3-D RPG world. I like crushing towns as the main character while entering them. I didn't like the last games, so I'm not awaiting this one. If it turns out to be good, ok, whatever. If it's bad, ok, whatever. If I play a game and like it, I'll look forward to the next in the series, but I won't force myself to like it. even though i don't think fhq should judge this FF specially because it has many changes that he might or might not like, it's hard to force someone to play a franchise that they just don't care about, like for example crash and spyro games, i bet that most of you played the ps1 versions but don't want to even look at the newer versions (however there are still people that like them)
as for the next zelda, if eji Anouma makes it then HURRAY, i know he'll use the wiiremote as he used the DS touch screen with PH (and by the way FSA only sucks if you play alone)
