BioShocker!
I voted Xbox 360. I'm a serious gamer, therefore not in the Wii's demographic, and I think the PS3 is a waste of money because I believe the Xbox 360 offers the same (or more/ better) stuff for better value. Plus, the 360 controllers feature rumble and no motion sensors. Old school, kinda. I'm sure you have much better reasons for your individual choices so let's hear 'em! You only get one vote so use it wisely. However, you may change your vote after casting it.

i voted 360 and wii equally. the wii offers fun, family freindly gaming

while the 360 offers hardcore gaming with beautiful graphics.

so i choose both.

360 has the best offering of games that appeal to me. Plus Xbox Live and my friends all have them, it is the only real choice for me.

I think that Nintendo failed to see the importance of system performance. A weak system means weak game logic as well. (not just graphics) Basically this is a limiting factor on how big worlds can be, how smart the AI is, and how fast levels can load. Of course there are many other areas of a game that this can affect, but you get the idea. ANY system can develop a special controller after the fact. Just look at the past: Dual analog for PSOne, Dance Dane Revolution Pad, Guitar Hero Guitar, Nintendo Power Pad, Dreamcast Fishing Rod, Neo Geo Mahjong Controller, Nintendo Power Glove, Game Boy Cartridge with Motion Sensor, etc. Note that Sony or Microsoft could at any time create a new controller if they wanted to. Motion sensitive or otherwise. What can't happen is to recall all systems and upgrade them with more powerful chips. The biggest system power upgrade Nintendo has ever offered is the memory expansion pack for N64. Other than that, it has been media add-ons.

The only mistake Sony made is initially offering a system that is too powerful for the time it was released. The Blueray disk drive technology + other features drove up the cost too high and caused problems with production numbers. Now, the price of the PS3 is actually a bargain for what you get, but to a lot of people it is just way too much to plunk down on a game machine. Once you start comparing it to the 360 you will see how the price is really reasonable. There are some areas where they did not flesh the PS3 os out enough like online play, but it just depends on what you need in a system.

The X360 has the best online experience right now, and also the largest game library of the three systems. The only area where Microsoft got hurt was their initial hardware reliability and the lack of a good warranty to back it up. Finally a year later they extend the warranty to one year. Come on, stand by your own product guys!

I hate to say stuff like this but last night I made a list of games on PS3 that I'm interested in and gave it a score out of 10 (10 being really, really interested, 1 being very slightly interested).

Here it is:
Motorstorm 5/10
MGS4 3/10
Devil May Cry 1/10

Speaks volumes, doesn't it?

It was close but the 360 wins out. PS3 looks like it COULD BE a power house but the graphics just aren't there yet. Playstation graphics have always been more jagged than its counterparts and this new gen stuff follows suit so far. The wii is awesome and has a lot of cool features with the controller but it is graphically inferior to the other two and the online multiplayer doesn't touch live. The wii has my vote for the AND system. The masses will end up saying "I have a _________ AND a wii." It's family friendly and has some attractive gimmicks. I'm buying the 3rd party games for the 360 and will have the wii for the stuff nintendo puts out.

Although I don't currently have a "next gen" system, I would have to say that I am interested the most in the 360. However I fully expect to buy both a Wii and 360.

As a consumer and a videogame enthusiast, I have no interest in the PS3. Not because of some deep seeded hatred of Sony (I have a PS1 and PS2), it's just that I don't see any benefit in buying one. I don't have a mega-HDTV with a huge blue ray DVD library. And most of the high profile games are on the 360 also.

The Wii in my mind is the perfect party game console. Groups of people will have fun with this thing. And I don't share the opinion that the Wii is not powerful enough. Nintendo has proven over and over and over again that power means little. Since the NES, there have been more powerful systems that could not match Nintendo's offerings. The Master System was far more powerful than the NES, but couldn't match the NES library. I think the Wii will duplicate this by attracting way more third party support due to the emmense popularity.

I love my 360, but I have to add the PS3 with it. I like the Wii, but it is just not doing it for me. The Wii is better for my kids.
