Anyway, back onto teh topic.

I'm wondering that the current economic state will slow down the advancement of technology. Slowing it seems like a logical thing to do, allowing to put more focus into opening jobs and such... but... what if advancing technology is actually a smarter idea?
Games could be at a point previously suggested earlier than 10-15 years... or it could be 30+?
