If you would recommend one video game that came out this year for me to buy (XBOX or PS3), what would it be? I'm looking to pickup a new game and would appreciate some user feedback, Thanks.

It's actually hard for me to answer this, because I've spent most of this year playing games that came out last year, or playing games on the Wii.
That said, there's only a few PS3/360 titles I can recommend.
PS3: Tales of Graces f. But you'll only like that if you're into jrpgs.
Mass Effect 3 is another game that came out this year that is pretty good. If you haven't played the first two, though, it might be confusing.

I don't mind playing games from last year. It's cheaper that way haha. Mass Effect 3 might be a good one. I have played the second one. I haven't even heard of Tales of Graces, i'll look into that one too. Thanks Mai.

I also played a lot of FFXIII-2 but I think I'm in the minority on that.
If you don't mind playing games from last year, Gears of War 3 is still solid. There's a lot of good DLC for both the campaign and the multiplayer. If nothing else, the RAAM's Shadow DLC is worth every penny. Lots of good stuff in that one. ^_^

If you have a PS3 and you don't mind playing games that are a year old, I'd recommend Infamous 2. If you have PS Plus, it's a no brainer because it's free. I'd also recommend Journey, if you have patience, and it you aren't afraid of having to think about a game to get the most out of it.
Also, if you missed Enslaved, you should probably check that out. If you like strategy, X-Com all the way. If you're a shooter fan, but you want to play a game that really pushes some boundaries, check out Spec Ops: The Line. And if you're Canadian, NHL 13.
If you want to fill up bars/level things up, Borderlands 2 is popular amongst my friends. If it's a fun, memorable, genuinely delightful single-player adventure you're craving, check out Uncharted 3.
