What Would You Do?

I bought a used copy of "Tekken 5" from a local store that I've been going to for years.
I bought it because I wanted to play and beat every title in the game. After doing so,I went down to the store to sell it back and put the money towards another title.

When I tried to sell it back they declined because there was a few scratches on it.Just for the record,it had a few scratches on it that I noticed when I took it out of the case to play it(I don't mind a few scratches, just as long as it plays,I'm happy.)I know for a fact that I didn't contribute to the scratches because I'm super careful with my disks.

I was tempted to tell them that I bought it there for crying out loud, but I didn't want to make a federal case out of it.I'm still thinking about calling them to say that, but I'm not sure. The last thing I want to do is cause problems, but I've been a loyal customer for years. You all have heard of the game "Hot Potato",well, looks like I'm stuck withe the potato. What do you think I should do?

God Bless,
Kaz

I have two questions I need answered first before I can help you with your problem.

First, How much did you buy it for?
Second, How much do they give back for the title if you sell it to them used?

Dude....

It's Tekken 5.

Don't sell it back.

But, as far as that video game store's policies, they're bunk. If they SELL you a game in said condition, they should be willing to buy the same game back in said condition.

It sounds like they're trying to dump it on you so they move inventory.

If it were a game other than Tekken 5, I'd say to follow up and pressure them. But, since it's Tekken 5, KEEP IT!
