Whats So Good About PS3?

I win then! I told her it'd be best to get a 360' at the most.

The 360' basically has just as many games as the PS3 does, with the exceptions where a certain game is Exclusive (ie: Halo for 360', and Heavenly Sword for PS3). Apart from the fact that the Blu-Ray is going to eventually be the next top thing in performance-entertainment, it's not exactly what people want at the moment. Right now, people want a console to PLAY games. I'm not going to tell them off for the extra features, such as being able to play DVD's and go online, those are all great, but there is a point where you can go too far, and PS3 did that. 360' almost did that. And Wii... well, Wii managed to keep it simple as Nintendo always intended.
In my opinion, the PS3 is great, but you may as well only bother if you've got the money to afford it and the rather expensive games that come with. I'd rather stick to the 360' for now, and even invest in a Wii, where there's still plenty of great games and features, with no hefty price.
 
K well i agree with HellScyth completly im sorry guys ur all have good points but ur points were not good enough to convince me and iv seen so called blue ray and wat it does wen u play movies and games and i still would rather a 360 or Wii thy r so much better and not a try hard company thy kept there consol's to wat ppl wanted and needed ppl like hellscyth said are not ready for blue ray and the features PS3 offers thy dont want to spend so much money on something thts not worth it anyway

I didnt say u hated sony did i, and u know tht so stop accussing me of saying things i didnt, get ur facts right first before u do tht. i was just expressing a point and my opinon on the PS3 if u dont like it thn dont read my posted. Its as simple as tht.

i know u said u didnt say anything either i was just replying to ur last comment, ur aloud to have an opinon and so am i, i accept tht and ur opinon and im not going to jugde u for tht cause tht would be wrong. im not tht kind of person. anyway i dont want to fight wiht u or anyone esle. My post was entended for a peaceful discussion of who liked the PS3 and why and for ppl to have there say.

360's more expensive then the PS3 if you include the wireless adapter, charge kit, HD-DVD player for HD movies (even though it lost), and paying for online. I like the PS3 because it comes with all of this (substitute Blu-Ray for HD) and amazing games. This year, the PS3 easily has the best line-up of games for me at least. Disgaea 3, Haze, MGS4, Gran Turismo 5 Prologue, Killzone 2, LittleBigPlanet, Metal Gear Online, Home, Heavy Rain, Gran Turismo 5, Flower, The Getaway, Infamous, and possibly FFXIII.

Note: These are just the PS3 exclusives that we know about. A ton more will be announced at E3.

I bought it for the games. Everything else is just extra.
 
Yeah, I was just naming off the ones I knew at the top of my head. Not to mention we're only talking about games for 08'...the PS3 has a ton.

Heavy Rain is the game a few years back at E3 05 or 06 where it showcased some really amazing voice acting and it looked like an audition for a movie part.

Ditch the $100 wireless adapter, add in $10 worth of ethernet cable, ditch the charge kit, buy rechargable batteries, ditch the HD-DVD player entirely. So, yes, more expensive if you buy a ****load of stuff you don't remotely need for that price. Otherwise, it only becomes more with Live.

some people have to have an ethernet that is longer than 10 ft. Also it would be easier just to get the logitech wireless adapter for PC/PS3/360. charge kit > rechargable batteries. And paying for an online service that should be free, need I say more.
