Which Publisher's the Best?

Well, based on gamerankings.com, here's the order.

Not like this is anything surprising. Sony takes the top spot, followed by Nintendo. Poor Konami. :lol

I remember seeing something similar to this, with major developers. I wish I could remember where I found it though. It bore pretty large similarities to this chart, actually.

Surprising EA isn't lower, with how they have done lately.

Yeah, I don't know how they've averaged over 7 on their games...but Madden and other sports games carry consistent scores most the time.

Was Activision broken up into its subsidiaries (Vivendi) or did they just not make the cut entirely?

This isn't complete. There is a complete one where there are a lot more publishers, including Activision. I know this because THQ was on there and was checking to see where they ranked, which would be the next one after Konami.

With what games did SCEA get so high on that list?

Heavenly Sword
Uncharted: Drake's Fortune
Gran Turismo series
Resistance
Motorstorm
Ratchet and Clank series
Warhawk
MLB The Show series
Eye of Judgment
God of War 1 and 2

Just to name a few. Sony publishes high quality games. That's for sure.

The chart was specifically for 2007 though. I don't think a Gran Turismo game was released in 07, and I know God of War wasn't (although 2 was).

But yeah, that makes sense.

Ohh, ok, my mistake :lol. Yeah, but the rest of them were, pretty much. All the ones on the PS3 that were developed by SCEA did very well.

Their games are exceptionally well. The only problem with them is the fact that they don't distribute enough copies >.<.

Exactly! And that's why some of their games end up being like $200 used!

SCEA wins pretty much because they have the most new IPs most of the time, which generally get higher scores.

Nintendo probably would be higher if they didn't insist on releasing Mario Party games all the time. ;)

Remember, this is only 2007. Didn't they only release Mario Party 8 and Mario Party DS?
