Who do you ship?

Well, Yoruichi was left to her own devices once they entered Soul Society. She was separated from Ichigo, Ganju, Chad, Orihime, and Ishida when they broke through the barrier. Who knows what she was doing that whole time? She might have retrieved the artifact and given it to Ukitake to unseal it. Of the captains there, Ukitake, Shunsui, and Unohana would be the ones who would remember Yoruichi the best, and Ukitake was Rukia's captain so maybe that's why it ended up with him in particular instead of Shunsui or Unohana.

I mean Yoruichi retrieved other Shihouin artifacts while she was there; she had that bird claw thingie that Ichigo used to fly to the bridge, and then that cape Ichigo used to fly to the Soukyoko Hill.
 
Clever theory. I was thinking from when Renji and Ichigo were training. Yoruichi was there right? Either way, your theory makes more sense. :lol
