Okay, this is just plain stupid. The Wii Zapper is a peripheral. You don't have to buy it. Not every Wii owner is a 10 year old kid. Some of us would love to play Re 4 and be able to aim with some degree of accuracy. The whole purpose of the Wii is to make it accessible to everyone, and to not make something that could make entire genre doable on the Wii because parents are going crazy about something they don't even have to buy.
Plus, tell me which looks more like a gun:
Concerned parents haven't said a word about light guns, since duck hunt for the NES, yet suddenly, out of nowhere, they freak out at something that doesn't even look all that much like a gun.

damn it im tired of this >.<, hardcore gamers say the wii has a lot of casual games, and now casual gamers say the wii has a lot of hardcore (not healthy) games.
damn, even reggie didn't say the word "shoot" during the media show he said the word "zap" why? because he knows that nintendo has a lot in their hands right now and they can't ignore either casual or hardcore gamers, however mothers are always paranoic with videogames but not with anything else is so annoying

oh concerned parents, worry about real issues, such as the drugs most of your kids will buy when they get a little older, not the wii zapper, cuz i dont think anybody will be zapped to death...
