Windows Vista

I am a few years behind the times.

After a system crash last week, I figured XP is on its way out of being supported. I finally upgraded to Vista and forced myself to not revert to XP for at least a week.

After A LOT of tweeks to the user interface, I think I can start actually using it.

Now it's time to see what this whole DX11 thing is all about!

Still using the Core 2 Duo overclocked to 3.16 ghz, Velociraptor 300, and GTX 460 graphics.

Go for 7. 7 Is nice.

...apparently my prior posts about operating systems were missed on other threads. I have had a copy of Vista shelved for years. I am between school enrollments, so cannot get a student discount, thus wouldn't be able to afford a retail copy of 7.

My post didn't ask, "What is your favorite OS?" or, "What OS should I buy?" I stated that I installed Vista. I wasn't really asking for suggestions.

I still have xp on both my pc's even had that put on the new pc that my father in law just built for us. Guess I am a lil behind the times. I suppose my stuff will be too outdated to use in a while. I am going to skip vista tho. I just do not like it at all.

In other thoughts, it was odd when I went to this thread's first page to start reading and saw a comment from satori. I wonder if he still has green hair. Wonder what that character's up to.

I've got a chance to install vista in my PC but for a month of using just for curiosity I reformatted my system again and went back to Windows 7
