World 9-3 Episode 7 (Announcement + Comments)

Hey guys,

The latest podcast, recorded last night, is now available on my website: http://web.ics.purdue.edu/~khollowe/

Unfortunately, I had a few problems with the RSS feed, so it may not be updated until late tonight, or tomorrow morning, and probably will not be available on iTunes until tomorrow night at the earliest. Sorry about that.

We are going to go back to making a new topic for every podcast, because we REALLY want to hear some feedback from you all. So please, feel free to shoot us some questions and comments here, and at the very least, tell us that you listened to it and that you liked or disliked it. :)

I hate to be the one to bring this up but, about the GT5: Prologue part of the podcast. Prologue is a Demo not a full game that is why the game is under 1 GB I just wanted to let you know just to set the record straight.

what do you all think of the podcasts? we felt this was a pretty good one. we'd like to get some feedback on what you think on this episode and others.

Yeah, Creepindeth told us that on the podcast before, I believe, or at least squashed any idea that it would be digitally distributed. In my zest to prove him wrong I misinterpreted Mega's comment. I have no doubt that Creepin will make sure to set the record straight on the next one... :lol

But also, thanks for bringing it up. We'll definitely amend any misinformation on the following podcast and give you credit.

And I hope that all the episodes are available on iTunes right now. If you subscribe to the Podcast on there, it should download episode 7 for you. However, iTunes seems to be having problems updating the feed in the store, so episode 7 may not show up in the list. Darned iTunes.
 
Anyone have comments regarding this podcast or any of them? what do you think?

I'm just starting the series. I'm about halfway through one. It's pretty good.
 
Just to throw this out there... do you think shorter podcasts would be better?

Or do you think the podcasts are of appropriate length?

I dunno, we really need to have a virtual reality podcast :lol Totally a three-part series!

I seriously feel that the podcast should be under a good time. Just hard for me to pin point what would be best, 1 hour or 1 hour and 30?
 
i think it was a cool podcast this time..... thoughi completely disagree with miyamoto himself... shame on his son how could a foreigner that didn't even know how to say "how are you" beat the game with only a masks guide and he couldn't?.

and i completely disagree with you stealth but each one to their own.. i loved wind waker for different reasons i guess

Oh, okay, good...I was confused by Zidarts comment. I thought maybe stealth was on one of his fanboy rants again...I kid, I kid!!! ;)

In all honesty, and I am not being sarcastic in the least, it would do me great honor if you made a post in the GC forum explaining why it is you disagree with me. Not because I want to start any arguements, but because I always wanted the podcast to be a jumpstart for discussion threads. I know it's an old discussion topic, but as we showed it still holds a lot of potency. Agree, disagree, or just straight up call us out. If you hear something in the podcast you feel needs to be pointed out or discussed, I would love for nothing more than for you to post up your reactions/thoughts about the stuff we talk about.

Seriously, if you think I'm way off base, I want to hear about it. If you want to start a thread saying I hit the nail on the head with a certain issue, fantastic, post a topic about it. If you think I'm totally bonkers, just as good, post that up too. Feedback is not only something we want to get from you guys on the podcast, it's the entire point of doing it.
 
I should listen to it just so I can hear more of why Stealth doesn't like Wind Waker.
