In the July issue of EGM. The Underwater world of BioShock is coming to PS3..

*UPDATE* Aug 20th

The offical release date is Oct 21st

I thought it was already confirmed for it a long lenghty time ago? Needless to say I need to beg my friend to beat it again so I can finally understand the whole story.

those are good news for me :D (now i will only get a 360 with tales of vesperia and there's no other game that distracts me from my objective)

The more people that get to experience this game, the better I say. Not only is it a great game, but it'll shut up everyone who views gaming as mindless and shallow.

I say it probably would. The problem is that almost everyone who views games as mindless and shallow probably hasn't even heard of Bioshock so I'm sure they wouldn't be willing to play it.

One game, which is very violent itself, won't make the naysayers overlook the Grand Theft Autos and Gears of Wars on the market.

I wasn't saying Bioshock is bad, I love it.

Mindless and shallow doesn't mean violent, and, although I would put Gears in the shallow section, GTA is far from it as I've always found it to be thought-provoking.

During the month of Halloween, you PlayStation 3 owners will finally have the opportunity to wield blunt instruments and bludgeon a pack of masked weirdos. Especially if they're between you and a PS3 copy of BioShock, which has been slated for release in October.

Having wrenched free from its Xbox 360 and Windows exclusivity, the waterlogged dystopia sim hopes to win those Game of the Year awards all over again, especially with the aid of "new features and content that will make this a must-have game for its new audience, as well as for those who enjoyed it on the other platforms." We're not sure what developer 2K Marin plans to add, but we hope it's less upsetting than our idea of SixAxis-powered Little Sister shakin'.

I never could get into playing it. I tried but I guess COD4 and GTA4 commanded my attention and I put this on the back burner. I will probably pick it up again once Ive grown tired of COD4 online.

TBH, I thought it was as much fun to watch my friend play Bioshock as it was for me to play it. It makes a very good watching experience, which most games don't.

Well I own Bioshock on my 360 and have already got all 1100 achievement points for it so Ive pretty much experienced the full game, I don't really see myself shelling out another 60 bucks for a extra level or 2 on the PS3 version even though it was a great game none the less.
