what people need to do is POST :)

I'm telling you.... when you guys are on... make an effort for 5-10 posts (not in F&G and try to stay of out general with those)... and it will pick up. You gotta give people something to talk about :) *you... as in not directed at anyone in particular.

I would post more but I normally don't have anything to talk about. Between taking care of my wife, work and the rest of life in general, I don't have much time for games. So therefor I don't have much to discuss.
 
Yeah, it just seems like over the last 2 days we have hit a real low in posting. I mean, that averages out to 57 posts a day. But on the 3rd and 4th, we had over 250 posts a day!
 
I would post more myself, but I don't own any new systems. I only own a Neogeo, Sega Genesis, and a few games for my PC, but nothing really news worthy. I try to post when I can though, like with the Kings Quest Collection.
 
I know there are a lot of Neogeo fans here, and I think BV has another forum specifically for Neogeo stuff as well. There are Sega fans and PC gamers here too, but the only forums that ever move are the DS and Wii forums.
 
Ya, I have been disappointed that there don't seem to be many new threads very often.....I feel like I am taking over the forum just by coming here and posting regularly.

I actually think that the forums might slow down because of winter break though....if the people were going online at their college etc., and plus there is holiday shopping etc.


I wish some other people would come up with some wacky new topics to discuss though, because my brain is running out of ideas....Ahhhhhhh...my poor, poor brain!
 
Well, I wouldn't call them "whacky" but I've posted a few new threads across the entire forums in the last couple of days.

It's not slow...it keeps me entertained during work. Just me though. I try to create threads when possible.

I can pretty much guarantee that if you give people something to talk about.. you will get more posts.

Hmm, I always feel a little bad about making a new thread, mostly out of fear its a repeat topic. Oh well.

I think things have slowed down cuz finals are coming up for everybody so they're all busy studying. Anyone else just working or don't have finals might have some kind of christmas rush right now. And then when the break comes, people might be busy with family and whatnot, so I would think things will stay slow for a week or two more, than slowly pick up again.

People never flame here about making new topics pretty much. Other forums get nasty about that, but mostly when they're congested. This board doesn't have that problem, so it's all good.
