It hardly looks any different from the original. I can just about see the symbol, but it doesn't look much different to me.
 
If it were, I dunno, FFVIII with Laguna's perfectly beautiful portrait on it I might reconsider. Or Sephy....mmm...Sephy could sell anything to anybody. Ten dollars he could "persuade" Bill gates to buy a Mac...

Anyways, it looks kind of lame with just a symbol for FFXII, which I don't even think is out yet, at least not for me yet.
 
it depends... is the symbol screened on, sprayed on, OR engraved?

if it's engraved... then maybe so :)

Not sure about that but it looks like the symbol is engraved into the system, not sprayed or painted on. I imagine if it was sprayed or painted on it'd be a different color.
 
It should be engraved. I imagine something like that would cost a whole lot of money! Who would spend big bucks on painted symbols like that?

It looks pretty cool; but I'd rather have the PS3; even though alot of people that the PS3 is going to be another 3DO.... :-[
