You Were Attacked By A Shark? That's Too Bad.What A Shame!

Gamingmaiden, I actually find shark week educational. Hopefully no one here is thinking that I hate sharks, I don't. I have a fairly irrational fear of them.

I think what is more important is for people to be SMART about dealing with sharks. They CAN be dangerous, but that doesn't mean that people should fear them as much as just practice some water safety... (For example, swimming/surfing in areas where tiger sharks and bull sharks frequent at dusk tends to increase chances of attack.) People just need to think once in a while.

A few years ago in my area, shark attacks became frquent but as of now, people crowd beaches. Sharks aren't always around in one area, or are they going to just attack for the hell of it either. I don't see the constant worry about sharks. Shark Week and Jaws just amplifies that fear. (imho)

And...bees? O_o That's interesting....xD

Let's hunt down Spielberg and kick his ass. :lol

I heard once that if sharks attack humans, it's usually just a bite just to taste. Let's be realistic, we probably taste like garbage to them, and I'm sure we're just about as nutritious as a giant Slim Jim. So unless the shark is in to junk food, it's likely we'll drown in the ocean long before a Great White shows up for snack time. Besides, don't sharks only like to nibble on people from New Jersey and Florida anyway? If so, I'm good. :D

Still, I don't want to put myself into a position of actually being on the menu.
