Your Nintendo Wii System memory is full... what do you do?

Seriously... unless things have changed... you cannot save WiiWare and Virtual console games to your SD card and move them off the Wii System memory, correct?

So what do you do? I have not downloaded many games, and I only have 1000 blocks of memory left...

SO... with that said, what do you suggest? Especially for those that have the same questions.

So you can at least copy over the games... and then copy back when you want to play?

I know others have asked me that... so I figure we should have a topic on it we can point to :)

See... IMO that's a big flaw of the Wii... not enough memory. I have BARELY scratched the 2nd page and I do not have a lot left.

Can I move over the Metroid Prime 3 demo to the SD card and store it there... and bring it back if I care to?

So will the Wii ever get more memory... I feel as if I should be able to fill all 3 pages of the "wii desktop" without lacking storage.

Maybe this is me though...

From my understanding, sometime next year, you will be able to make the Wii read off of the SD card to play games you've saved. Which will be via an update.
 
I get tired of hearing people complain about memory. Ive had a Wii for about 1 year and a half and I still have plent of space left.
 
Get rid of useless channels (like Metroid Prime, Wii channel that Nintendo added). Rearrange stuff buy VC and WiiWare games moderately.

You said moderately. Most of us here are pretty die-hard fans when it comes to great old-school games. There is no moderation in buying those. It's a legit complaint about the memory.

Have you seen my VC collection?(there's actually more than what's in that topic, I haven't updated it in a while)  :lol  I have to delete and switch out games all the time on my wii.
