Another game that comes to mind is a lost PS1 game that was deemed too violent. "Thrill Kill". A 4 player fighting game that had an unusual array of characters and tried to cash-in during the 3D era of Mortal Kombat 4. The beta disc was produced. It never saw the light of day.
RENT-A-HERO No. 1 for Xbox. This was another Sega franchise that never got any love, except in Japan. America was going to get it, but the only signs of who the heck RENT-A-HERO was included in Fighter's MegaMix on Sega Saturn.
