I want to hear your opinions on Adventure Mode! (I already know Mai's but I'd like to hear what everyone thinks about it!)

The new Adventure mode? Good choice! Subspace Emissary is depth and quite lengthy, but do you guys feel that many of the missions are repetitive or really well designed? I've tapped in about 8 & 1/2 Hours after finishing it.

I have some issues with the SSE, but I will save them for the podcast. If I don't get around to talking about it in that, I'll post them on the SSBB topic. ^_^

The SSBB podcast was a lot of fun to record. I hope you guys enjoy it once it's available for download. :D

Oh just a note....the answer I gave for why SSBB is a real fighting game....I'm not really all that satisfied with what I said. I um..couldn't explain it very well, so what I ended up saying kind of doesn't make sense.

I can't wait to hear it! Especially for the "you-know-what" ;)

Mastermario, Creepindeth, Mai Valentine, and (eventually) myself were on this episode where we discussed everything Smash Brothers. It was recorded on 03/12/08 and the total runtime is about 70 mintes. It's a little longer than usual because I was late getting online to record so MM, Creepin, and Mai, all recorded a general industry news segment without me. It's the first segment, and you can listen to it if you want to hear them belittle me as a person, but I wouldn't recommend it :lol. Thanks again to the team for waiting for me and carrying on the show in my stead. Mastermario should be putting it up on the official EGA podcast website (http://web.ics.purdue.edu/~khollowe/) later today where it can be streamed and downloaded.

Enjoy!

Yeah, I completely forgot to answer Mega's "most disappointed" question. I never once got to gripe about how Ganondorf still doesn't use his sword, despite the fact they put it in the game and he pulls it out when he taunts! It's like they're trying to infuriate me. :lol

The podcast should be up and running on my site....it wouldnt let me stream both at once, so I guess we'll just stream the latest one and keep the others available for download.

You guys did an excellent job! I'm happy Mai chose Tales of Symphonia as one of her favorite games. :)

EDIT: I also have some questions for your next podcast, pertaining to online games/functionality. :)

1. What console (360,Wii,PS3) do you think does online gaming best?

2. Do you think a game with online support (multiplayer, content) has a better chance of selling than an offline only game?

3. What do you think of the payment options for each of the console's online content. (I.E. Wii Points, Microsoft Points, Paying with exact change via Playstation Network)

4. What are some of your biggest pet-peeves about playing online games?

5. How long do you think it will take Nintendo to catch up to Microsoft and Sony's online prowess?

Hope this helps with the podcast next week. :)

Man, those are some sweet questions. We'll definitely address most, if not all, of those on the next podcast. Because online gaming on consoles is so new, rampant speculation is warranted, so I'm certainly looking forward to discussing those.

To add to the online stuff that Strubes is asking here, are some of my questions:

1) Do you think that any of the online services that the three of them, mostly Sony and Microsoft, will get to the same level as say Steam is?

2) Out of the three which would most likely hit full digital distribution first? Think carefully on this one. Microsoft does have Movies and TV but no games (talking about more recent games not past games), whilst Sony does have full games to download but no Movies and TV (except over in Japan).

3) Would you want cross-platform multiplayer on certain games or keep it the way it is?

4) Would you pick a really thought out game solely for the single player and have no option for multiplayer or a game that is built ground up for the sole purpose of multiplayer?

5) Sure there have been past MMOs on console but, they never compare to PC MMOs. Do you think there will ever be a console MMO that could stand up to a PC MMO? And if so what would it be like?

6) Kinda sticking with SSBB from the past podcast and still within these sets of questions. Would you prefer SSBM with online or SSBB with it's online (Even though SSBM did online).

Very good guys! I enjoyed listening to your answers to the questions asked, and keeping up on gaming news via the podcast. :)

I'll just make a couple suggestions real quick. I notice that nobody in the podcasts have or have had a PS3, so information on the PS3 online service and such are mostly guesses on the podcast. I have a PS3, and know alot about it. Same with Mega as well. So, if you need any information on that, or need a guest for the show to talk about it, I'd be willing. I bet Mega would be too. :)

Also, maybe for part of the show, you should have a self-proclaimed expert on each system talk about news and updates for each system. For example, a Wii owner talks about Wii news and updates, a 360 owner talks about 360 news and updates, and a PS3 owner talks about PS3 news and updates.

Just throwing that out there. :)

Great job guys!
