FFX was amazing. FF7 had a very good storyline. But I would choose FFX cuz of the crazy graphics and the battles were amazing. But overall I would choose FF8. Final Fantasy 8 was the best of ALL TIME. But to end evrybody's fueds, ALL FINAL FANTASIES RULE !

Because its a great game, to me anyways. Although I dont go crazy over it. I love it and thats all that matters to me.
 
My vote for Final Fantasy 7. FF7 I think set what every other 3D rpg had to be like. It was immersive game with a good story, gameplay, characters. The graphics don't seem great but back when it came out I think those were some of the best. FF7 to me left a bigger impact than FF10 did.
 
Wow, that's a tough question.

I'd really have to beat both of them to give a proper response though.

But if forced to make a choice, I'd have to say FFX right now simply because it was so amazing when I started playing it, and Lulu rocks. I also like the battle system and the sphere grid better.

But for FFVII, I do have to say that Sephiroth is a way better boss than Seymour.
 
I'm gone for a while and FF7Master is in a FF topic. In my opinion FF7 is better, they should make a remake. FF7Master, i'll try and get your FF7 back to you. Wooh old topic, damn time to open some scars.
 
FF7 is overrated. It was most peoples first FF and thats what introduced them to square and all that jazz. 7 is an amazing came but it was not the first amazing FF. FF6 is so much better and it was on the SNES. Also 7 introduced new elements to the series due to the technology. But with 6 they did a better job with less thechnology. This is also why alot of people hated 8 because it was not Cloud, Sephirtoh, Tifa, and Barret all over again because it was the first FF and didn't expect a completely different stand alone sequel. And I think square realized that people wanted more of the FF7 world and thats why they are doing spinoffs, yes money is to be made but whoever said it made a good point about the spinoffs being made for the 7 fans cause most people who didn't like 7 would not be interested. But this is About 7 vs 10. And I will have to go with 10 because I liked the story more and the new technology in this case made all the difference in bringing new elements to the game...Voice acting rocks. I still love 7 but it is over rated because people are biased because it was alot of people's first game to fall in love with. ~Sky :-*
 
Although I haven't finished either of the games (jus haven't had the time)...I can say that I like FF VII a ton better.

Too many reasons to type out right now. It's 2 a.m. and I have school in the morning.

FFX was my first FF game and I really do think FF7 is better in comparison. FF7 only loses in Graphics. FFX was pretty fun though.
 
I would definitely have to say 7. In my opinion FFX shouldn't even be compared to FFVII. I give you the fact it has better graphics but you also have to understand FF VII was the mid 90's and X was over 4 yrs later which gave them a significant time to develop better technology. Now, while I'm talking about graphics.. FFVII's Cgs and graphics were top notch at time like ffVII master said. FFX never really drew me in at all. I found myself playing the game to beat it just because I wanted to say I beat it. In my opinion which no one try to pwn me with slick cliches and comebacks... some of the characters in X lacked the aspects that could really make me feel for them. When I played 7 the first week it came out, I was drawn in and I was loving every minute of it. When Aeris got killed I friggin teared up lol and now that is how you get the consumer connected to the game! But sadly in X i felt myself saying Shut up to tidus constantly... although I did slightly feel bad for auron at the end when he ended up getting sent.I feel that they could have done a better job with some of the music and such but yeah like I said all opinion. Now XI is a beautiful game and although it is different of course (MMORPG) it really has some good stuff going on with it. I play on cerberus since the NA release, so if anyone wants to hang out on there let me know :) And I'm excited to play XII, which I have noticed has a battle system similar to FFXI.

FFVII Master! Keep on rockin man!

This poll should be banished! No, but seriously, how could one even compare the 2 games? It's almost an insult being as FFX was such a lame, crappy game. For some reason I thought FFX was ok the first time I beat it but omg now that I have played much better rpg's FFX just simply...fails...

P.S. I am so in agreeance with you Ikari, Tidus was a royal pain in the rear!! And yes he DID cry, alot!!! :lol
