He's only doing this to make himself look good, just like Hillary Clinton did. Dr. Phil is a clown controlled by Opera, merely just a dog on a leash, that sits on command and barks on command.

Is video games the reason to violence? Alot of college students who write papers over this stuff are saying YES and the professors are agreeing to it. It's sad really. I say yes, because the mass media wants you to say "YES" so that they can get a nice fat check for reporting false news.

In reality, the answer is NO, because if you can't tell the difference between fantasy and reality, then that's your problem.

Plus the ERSB educating mommy and daddy on a daily basis to say "Hey this game is rated M and this game is rated E!"

Still, the parents don't even care. I've had mother's come into my store and purchased GTA like crazy, even though they are AWARE of the content in the video game, but they don't care simply because they say, and I quote "Oh he did so good in school this week, his report card was so good! Yes I am aware of the content, or my favorite...I just want them to get off my back, so give me the game now!"

I read this again, and oddly enough you gave the opponents of videogames a foothold. They say it causes violence in kids. And you are advocating violence as a means to silent the opposition. And what does moving to another country accomplish? You go to another country with the same problems and you're right back in the same boat. But to top it all off, you won't have the right to vote unless you go through the necessary channels to gain citizenship.

Dr. Phil? Yes. Idiot material. Hillary? Clueless. And I think that in it's self is cruel enough punishment.
 
i honestly think they need to rethink through what they believe on......Jack Thompson is enough but more people on the plane will cause it all to fall violently with lawyers. :?
 
You can't possibly rule out that video games don't have an effect on people. Sure, maybe MOST of the people who play video games don't have increased aggression but studies show that there are people who are affected. What I don't understand is why when someone points the finger at video games people say they need to die or get tortured... It just reinforces the image that people like Jack Thomson and others are trying to make.

Of course I don't agree with people like Dr. Phil or Jack Thomson. Video games are similar to movies; they will have an effect on people who watch/play them. I don’t see Jack or Phil starting crusades against television, movies, and rap music.

Yes...Blues Clues...that show made me kill my family. I was 3 and started singing and dancing to the mail time song while holding a butcher knife. In my dances, I ended up stabbing all of my family. ::D ::D ::D ::D ::D

I really don't see why people point the blame on video games. Flash back to when you last played grand theft auto. you probably ran over some pedestrians, stole some cars, shot some hookers, slayed policemen, etc. but then what did you do after that? I, personally, went with my niece to dairy queen and got ice cream, something very non-violent if you ask me. My point is: violent video games do not compell people to do violent things in the real world. Unless of course you have a mental disorder and blur the line between fiction and reality. In that case, you shouldn't be playing video games in the first place and you should be getting help. I believe the real reason for most school shootings and similar incidents are parents, other students, and teachers with all this pressure to be the best and what-not, any kid can just snap all of a sudden and lose it.

That huge comment was just a bunch of stuff I pulled right out of my butt so don't take me word for it. Gamerz 4 life!

...right...any way what i did is i played half-life 2 and halo 2 and then Quake and GTA vice city...after that i played with my 4 or 5 year old cousin and with a little puppy...thats the most violent thing in the world isnt and i have some mental problems. I am shcizo...uh..
Schizophrenic i beleive is how you spell it...that proves video games arent violent
