March 2008 (Stupidest month blunder ever?)

MegaDrive20XX

Segatron Genesis... call me the wizard.
Okay, so I wasn't aware it was daylight savings time today (Spring Foward 1 hour). That way, no rest for the wicked and kind at heart! Muhahaha! The Clock is laughing in our faces! The Clock is all-knowing and mighty! Ricky-Tick-Tock! Forget you Mr. Clock! I've taken on Clock Towers in CastleVania that will make you look like a PUNK! So I wag my finger at you, especially during the release date of Smash Bros. Brawl! FOR SHAME!

Then we have St. Patty's, so we can pretend to be Irish, get drunk off our butts and magically become happy go lucky and sin-free from the previous week, as we celebrate EASTER?! What the fudge jello puddin' pop is going on here!?

What happened? Who designed this year's calender? A Circus clown or a Comedian? I wish this was a joke, but apparently the St. Easter-Santa-Pumpkin-Claus says different!

You can kiss me because I'm Irish they say, but the bunny with the chocolate egg-bombs says you're a sinner for kissing a man's wife!

I don't know what is worse, seeing Halloween and Christmas decorations in the same Wal-Mart during the SAME month or seeing two holidays blundered together in the SAME Month.

Opinions? Yellow Peeps from Cadbury Bunny anyone? Corn-beef Hash perhaps? Doesn't matter, because it's all on the same menu.

I've seen the end of the universe, it's when two worlds collide and his name is Bunny O' Brien! The Irish Bunny who delivers CONFUSION!

Think of what the children will think! Those kids who have to make arts and crafts for St. Patty's Day or Easter! Oye vay, this will screw them up for LIFE! "Sorry little Jimmy American! You maybe Irish, but apparently you're WRONG for making a Leprechaun in the shape of a BUNNY!"

I look forward to this time of the year because of the chocolate fudge filled Cadbury Bunny eggs. But they are so rare and hard to find anymore! >:( I guess I will just have to settle and be satisfied with the carmel filled ones. :'(

But Easter is the day after my birthday this year, thus ensuring that although I will work on my birthday despite having asked for it off, and despite there being a Stan Lee signing locally that I now cannot attend on my birthday, at least I should be able to go to the aquarium the following day.

P.S. I have St. Pat's off, and am part-Irish, but I don't drink.

I would kill people.

The signing starts at 11 am, I work 7am-4pm. One of my co-workers is going and said he'd get something signed for me. He also said the entire electronics department ought to call out on that day to attend the signing. Were my attendance not so godawful horrible (I have a huge CON penalty, LOL) I would call out and go, but I need to sick days for actual sicknesses.

I might have to dress up as the Easter Bunny at work for taking pictures. Oh, the horror.

They do that at Wal-Mart!? I have never heard of that..

They almost made me dress as Santa when I was working at Toys R Us. I personally took it as offensive :( Since I was the only heavy set male employee.

Yeah, we have a prop background in photo and we take pictures and give them out. We do that with the Easter Bunny and Santa.

We checked out the bunny suit today so I could be prepared for the potential horror, and had some fun with the mask taking silly pictures. It sucks because the mask is hot, and it's hard to breath while wearing it.

But,..but...but... having someone else to get something signed for you just wouldn't be the same as watching him sign it for you. Oh the horror of it all. :o If only there was some great excuse that would sound reasonable that somehow you being there would benefit sales in the electronic department. :)

No, that's how I got into E3 in the past though. :lol

I told my friend to have it signed "To Joy, Happy birthday! Excelsior! Stan Lee" LOL
