I'll be in on that beta as well.

I do work on the third, but I somehow got the 6,7, and 8th off all in a row, so I'll definitely be playing on those days. :D

Also a nice thing to know is that the animation for grenades are the same as ODST. And the blast radius is bigger and deals more damage.

I have to buy ODST. Which I will probably do on Wednesday or Thursday.

Friends and family codes were sent out a while ago, and a lot of codes have been given out from various websites.

So, the beta accessed by having ODST is the one that starts May 3?

Bungie posted 117 Beta codes today on their site.

I would have liked an early code, but I honestly won't have time to play until the 3rd so it works out pretty well.

So who all will be on? Me, Mai, kirby, Mega will all be on (Gamertags are SpartanEvolved, Phoenix Chase, don't know kirby's :(, and MDXWolf)

The beta demo is GODLY!! Omg it's like Halo 1 MP fun! The detail of each marine is just wow! I love that the X button is reload again since it always bothered me to use RB (or try to remember). Now I have to use RB to melee, which imho makes much more sense!

I like the beta a lot so far. The loadouts keep things fresh, and the maps aren't bad. The server problems are to be expected, when 300,000 people are playing and god knows how many are downloading it. I expect within a day or two tops the servers will be fixed up. Can't wait to play invasion though!

So wait, it says there are 4 beta maps, but we played the same two over and over last night. What's up with that?
