After playing the demo, I had some concerns about the controls being too slow and awkward for a game with a bunch of action in it. Now, having played the final product, I can definitely say its not really an issue at all. The game is intense, like, really really intense. So much so that there's no time to think about shoddy controls. They are still awkward and slow, but you'll never notice that as you're playing the game.
The graphics are incredible, to the point where they're almost too good. I'm not kidding when I say that. The first time I had to use the knife to fend off a "zombie," I actually recoiled in horror a tad. The person I was butchering looked like a real person, and I must admit it was not easy for me to hack this person to death. There really ought to be more signs to indicate that these people are zombies. Otherwise, shooting and slashing them feels... well, it feels a little too real.
