Hi Members!
It is most certainly clear that most of you have been "Gamers" for a LONG time. Can anyone remember some of the awesome highlights that gaming has introduced into your lives?
For me,it was winning a small tournament(10-12 Contestants) that a local video rental place hosted to promote their business. One of the challenges was to see who can get the most points in "Super Mario Brothers 1"(nes)within the 20 minute time limit.Of course we all went for the big points you can score on the staircase at the end stage 3-1,I think,it's been so long since I played it,where you just repeatedly jump on the turtle for all the free men and the high score.
I managed to win,and won: A Pepsi Windbreaker(Like the good people that make Pepsi, care about some weenie tournament. All about the advertisement. :lol)
10 free movie rentals
And 1 voucher for "Brunch" at a pretty upscale Hotel/lounge.It didn't matter,I sold it to my mother for $10.Not a bad deal for her,the voucher was worth $20 or something.
God Bless,
Kaz
