Who else can't wait for Crackdown?

Edit: And the repetitiveness is so frustrating. Shoot gangsters, level up so you can shoot more gangsters, shoot those gangsters, level up so... ARGH!! The only bits where it varies are the driving races (easy and boring), the rooftop races (most annoying thing when you just miss a ledge and have to restart) and the random orbs on the rooves (Jump, cling on to ledge, jump across, miss ledge, try again). The guy who created GTA made this? I'm glad he left!!

EGM: Downloadable content - we know its coming. Whatcha got?

PW: The stuff people want to know that were working on and that we can confirm are new vehicles.... [and] theres something special about each one. Were doing a lot of new equipment, new gadgets, just toys to play around with in the game world.

Were going to [add] alot more game modes, alot more things for solo and co-op players, and leader boards that are attached to those, that make for more reasons to screw around, so your not so much making your own fun, your going with he games modes we've created. The stuff were putting together is just really fun.

New vehicles? Sweet! I am assuming they will be Agency vehicles (which is even better).
New equipment and gadgets? I am hoping these are linked to the cut Gadget skill, meaning they aren't just guns :)
New game modes? Awesome! That means you people without imaginations can get as much fun out of this game as people (like me) with imaginations can. And people like me will just get that much more fun!

Awesome news. If it gets too simple, I jus turn up the difficulty. :lol
 
Or if you could play as a gang member and the mission is to take out the other gangs. But I think that would step too much into Saints Row/GTA San Andreas territory.
 
I got this game earlier this week and I admit when I first started out I wasn't impressed but overtime it won me over

I do have the same similar gripes as most of you which I hope the downloadable content can fix but it's a nice break from gears multiplayer
 
I got all that I could out of this game after about 2 weeks. Im selling it the next chance i get

I just bought it when it came out. I even got the Halo 3 beta with it, even though I didn't need it.
 
is this game good?

im seriously considering it, althought it looks like san andreas mixed with hulk ultimate destruction with good graphics

seriously im getting a 360 w/ gears , splinter cell and a 3rd game, but idk what. the choice is between

crackdown
oblivion
tony hawks project 8
dead rising

quite a decision
