What Was The Worst Injury You've Ever Had?

When I was younger I fell off a fence and split my wig.Much stitches.

Never had anything too bad happen to me. Never broken a bone, never needed stitches for anything. I do have a scar on my right hand running from the base of my thumb to my wrist, caused by a table with a glass surface I broke when I was younger.

Stitches in my head and having all the skin on my legs below my knee and on my forearms scraped off from a bike accident on a dirt road.

Holy Crap!! Break out the painkillers!

Burned my left hand when I was a kid. Not to bad, just looks like my palm 'pours' over past my thumb and index finger

Scar on my left pinky from a rice cooker. Scar on my left index finger from a razor blade cut. Scar on my right index finger from fishing out a fork from the bottom of a still hot dish washer. Scar on the bridge of my nose from being hit in the face with a hockey stick. Right knee cap is cracked from slipping at work and landing on it. Twisted my ankle last summer from falling down some stairs afer a tire hit me in the back at work. I once electrocuted myself with a spark plug wire on a dirt bike I had. Been electrocuted at least three times from drop cords and wall sockets. Got my left hand smashed between a Ford Mustang and a floor lift. Got a black eye a few months back while attempting to secure the gas tank in my truck. One strap popped and hit me in the face. When I was younger, the board holding the top bunk, and my brother, snapped, falling on me and nearly killing me. I was playing catch one time, and got hit in the temple by a baseball. Knocked me out cold.

That's all I can remember at the moment.

Wow! What are you?A stunt double or something?

I work around cars. It's not often that I go a whole day without bleeding. Like today. I somehow peeled a few layers of skin off the back of my hand while working on a Dodge truck.

This didn't happen to me,but it's still a nasty injury. When I was in high School,I played ball with a few of my friends in the gym during lunch break.A guy named Matthew went up the rebound and snagged the base of his ring finger on a sharp metal area where the rim is welded to collapse hinge that should have been hammered in and buffed, but anyway,it tore his skin right up the entire finger.I've never seen so much blood.OUCH!!!!!

Godspeed.

I was in the 8th grade. I was going down this very steep hill on a five speed bike at top speed. There was this real fine loose gravel at the bottom. When I hit that gravel the bike was gone, completely removed itself from under me. I rolled like a ball, sliding on both sides of my face, breaking both arms in the process. I had a cast on both arms most of the summer that year.

I was like 10 years old. This girl rode her bike up and was talking to me. Wanting to impress her, I told her that I could jump over her bike. It was a very tall bike, too big for her. What do I do, I back up and take a flying leap, the fender catches my knee and splits it open. I didn't cry, that impressed her.

:D

I tried to jump a couple foot tall wall down at IU when I was visiting some friends there instead of just climbing over it. My left foot cleared, my right toe barely caught the edge and I busted my shin. My friends are STILL making fun of me for it (though I will admit it was hilarious)

When i was replacing a Exaust Mount(?) on my old car i forgot to wear gloves and torn some skin open and deeply cut to fingers on something sharp and bled everywhere for the next hour.

they are really tiny but they both hurt like hell. now there are some scars on my left index and left middle finger because of it.

I was working on my boyfriend's car a month ago (I thought guys were supposed to be good with cars!?) when he decided to jam his fingers in my sides, scaring the you-know-what out of me. My head hit the hood, and I reflexively jerked my head back, headbutting him right in the face (serves him right!). The hood dislodged from the props when my head hit it, and proceeded to break my index, middle, and ring fingers on both hands.

He's lucky he's usually a good guy and that i'm forgiving! ;)

That sounds really painful...

Another more vivid memory just came back to me.

About 3 years ago, my dad was testing a parking lot fan with a gasoline powered motor. After running it for maybe 15 seconds, he asked if I could help him load it. I didn't have a shirt on, and when I picked it up to load it part of it (the muffler I think) touched my chest and melted the skin off. It was one of the most painful things I have ever had happen to me.

I was sitting on a tree branch at school and i lost my balance and fell backwards and landed on my arm and my arm pretty much twisted all the way around to my back i couldn't move it at all and when i tryed the pain just shot through my arm to my shoulder and yeah so that would easily have to be the worst pain Ive ever felt.

Ironicly just before i fell bacdkwards a teacher told me to get down and because i might hurt my self :p.

I remembered a time when I was young... I was playing outside and the grass was a bit taller than usual. I accidentally sat in a fire ant bed. That was quite possibly the most painful injury I've ever had. Ant bites on your nards hurt for weeks. :(
